For any business that hires employees in a physical location (practically every one of them) it is important to track human resource activity. For agency professionals that work in the office time tracking is essential for billing and reporting purposes. I created an Employee Timesheet Application which was one of my first ASP.Net webforms projects for my university and yet it was one of my favorite and was used for a long period of time in the department:

  • Written in ASP.Net webforms with Javascript, JQuery, JQuery UI, and early Twitter Bootstrap.
  • Stored timesheet entries in MSSQL database; retrieved using OpenAccess ORM
  • Supported multiple daily entries and entry description. Final entries were able to be sent to a supervisor for timesheet approval.
  • Totaled each weeks hours into monthly reports that were available for download.
